The MacLean Family
The MacLean Family has ties to the Northern Nevada area that date back to the 1860’s over the course of this time, the MacLean’s have become deeply rooted in the community, engaging in numerous philanthropic endeavors. In line with this tradition, the MacLean Family is hosting this event out of a passion for the skill and elegance of the sport and a desire to support deserving nonprofit organizations serving the northern Nevada community.
Our Story
Franktown Meadows is an equestrian facility that has been family owned and operated for three generations. It is located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountain range, in historic Washoe Valley, conveniently between Reno and Carson City, Nevada. This 41-acre facility offers a variety of services for the horse and rider, with boarding and profession instruction in hunter/jumper/equitation and dressage.
