What is the cause being supported?
The Parasol Tahoe Community Foundation is a non-profit, public charity that is dedicated to supporting the Northern Nevada and California community – now and into the future. It was founded in 1996 by community members for community benefit. They support charitable giving, non-profit organizations and community well being.
Parasol makes charitable giving simple and effective for donors. They partner with donors to meet their charitable giving goals, provide excellent stewardship of their contributed assets, and offer information on ways that their gifts can have the most impact.
Parasol supports local non-profits in their efforts to provide strong programs that meet community needs. They promote organizational innovation and collaboration as methods for utilizing charitable gifts in the most effective and efficient manner possible.
Parasol provides local leadership by promoting a vision of community that is healthy, inclusive and sustainable. They encourage lively discussion on current community issues and future community goals, giving all stakeholders a voice.
Through the kind generosity of donors, the quality services provided by local non-profits, and the hard work of many volunteers, our Northern Nevada & California community is enriched.
