The Franktown Meadows National and International competitions will be held rain or shine. So please check the weather report to dress appropriately.

GENERAL ADMISSION ATTENDEES Come enjoy a wonderful day watching some of the best horses and riders in the country compete over jumps. Both Saturday and Monday’s competitions are located outside and on grass. You are welcome to bring a chair and/or blanket to set up ringside to view the competition. Umbrellas and tents are prohibited. It is recommended that you pack sunscreen and a hat. Also, it can be windy in Washoe Valley, so you may want to bring “layers” to ensure you are comfortable. |

VIP ATTENDEES VIP attendees of the International Hunter Derby are encouraged dress as if going to any esteemed equestrian event such as the Kentucky Derby or a polo match. Dresses and hats for ladies. Sport coats and slacks for men. Please remember, the event is outside and on grass, so please choose shoes that are comfortable to walk in. Also, it can be windy in Washoe Valley, so you may want to bring “layers.” |
