International Hunter Derby - Keith Hastings |
| Keith Hastings has been in the horse business for over 30 years. Him and his partner Pat Dodson is the very best in managing the horses in barn care, feeding, and turnout to reach the horses’ full physical and mental potential. The two work as a team in training the horses and riders. Keith rides the horses to train and prep, if needed, while Pat provides a set of experienced eyes from the ground. At the shows, competitors can receive a variety of services to ease the work load that goes along with horse showing. Pat and Keith attend shows from the ‘C’ level to the ‘AA’ level. Both are ‘R’ rated judges and travel throughout the United States to judge. The professional judge point of view is beneficial for the client in buying a horse. It allows them to get an opinion similar to that of a judge at a rated show. Pat and Keith have made many friendships and connections throughout their years working with horses which makes horse buying and selling easier. | |

International Hunter Derby - Tammy Provost |
Tammy Provost runs an A-circuit hunter/jumper stable and is well established in the elite circles of the hunter circuit. Her “all horses, all the time” upbringing in northern Indian translated into an unwavering focus from that first pony to a full-fledged professional career. An early and enthusiastic supporter of hunter derbies, Provost now hosts school level shows and derbies at her 30 acre farm in Sheridan, Ind. She picked up judging in the late ‘90s as a way to give back to her industry, and she’s presided over a collection of the top equitation and medal finals. As a quietly competitive rider and no-drama trainer, Provost is a genuine talent who credits her mother for giving her the opportunities that pushed her career forward from the very beginning. |
